Our goal is to drastically improve Nigeria's health conditions and social welfare by supporting local clinics with skilled clinical volunteers, donated medicine and medical supplies, as well as health and education.

Volunteers travel for 2 weeks and like previous mission trips, we estimate visits from nearly 400 patients a day. 95% are individuals from rural areas with inadequate medical care due to inaccessibility and affordability.

MISSION TRIP DATES: JULY 12 - JULY 26, 2022 NOTE: Dates are subject to change slightly +/- two (2) days on either end.

We seek volunteers who have a passion for healthcare equity in developing countries. You will be spending time among people who are full of life and love yet go without basic healthcare needs being resolved amidst the pervasiveness of poverty and disease.

WHO: Medical (Pharmacists, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Registered Nurses, and Nurse Practitioners), aspiring advanced healthcare students, and non-medical volunteers who are passionate about this mission.

AGE: 21 years old and above

EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated expertise in your professional field.

Women For Women Campaign is a month-long grassroots campaign in March presented by the Nigerian Healthcare Foundation where women spearhead supporting women in Nigeria and the Foundation’s quest to ensure that healthcare is a basic right for all.

Joined by Celebrity Ambassadors, Board Members and Friends of NHF, the goal is to raise $25,000 to support the Women’s Empowerment Fund.

Nigerian women have been the geniuses and muses behind culture, food and music beloved by billions worldwide. Unfortunately, the country has not always created outcomes for women that truly match the contributions made to the country. Nigerian women bear the brunt of the negative physical, psychological and economic effects of medical supply chain disruptions, lack of access to care, and high maternal and infant mortality rates. Let’s come together strong and support our mothers, our sisters, our aunties!
